Heidi McKinnell runs Fresh from a High Street site in the middle of Abersoch, built around fresh fish and daily lobster landed from Cardigan Bay alongside steaks and an international menu shaped by years she spent working in bars and restaurants abroad before settling on the Llŷn Peninsula. The bar keeps a full cocktail list running through the summer season, with DJs and live bands on busy weekends. Locals and the sailing crowd both know it simply as Fresh, and it has become one of the fixed points of Abersoch's small, seasonal dining scene, a short walk from the beach and the yacht club.
