Goldcliff Garden Centre sits on the Uckfield Road just outside Ringmer, run by the same family for more than three decades. The nursery began in 1988 with shrubs and perennials grown and sold from the side door of the family home; by 1991 it had grown into a full garden centre, with production scaled up to more than 100,000 plants a year at its peak. Today Goldcliff stocks shrubs, trees, perennials, roses and house plants alongside garden furniture, tools, feeds, compost and seed, and has built a reputation locally for its range of terracotta and specialist pots. While much of the stock now comes from other growers rather than being raised on site, the centre still trades on the original family name and premises. It runs a loyalty card scheme, welcomes dogs, and opens daily, 8:30am to 6pm, serving gardeners across the Lewes and Ringmer area.
