Goodies Delicatessen

Goodies Delicatessen has traded on St Saviours Road in Larkhall since 1988 under owners Andy and Fran Lamont. The shop bakes nothing itself but takes daily deliveries of bread from Hobbs House Bakery, slicing loaves to order for a small charge, and keeps a counter of charcuterie and cheese alongside organic and Fair Trade coffee. Filled baguettes, salads and cakes are made up through the morning for the lunchtime trade that passes along Larkhall's small parade of shops. The deli keeps weekday and Saturday hours only, closing mid-afternoon once the lunch rush has passed. It has become the parade's established stop for a quick lunch or a wedge of cheese to take home.
