Hall Farm Butchers was opened on Market Hill in Framlingham in 2011 by Diane and David Scott, both from Suffolk farming families, after they identified demand for locally sourced, traceable meat in the town. Daniel has worked at the counter since the shop opened, with Luke joining the team in 2014. The shop sells traditionally reared beef, chicken, lamb and pork alongside seasonal game, sourced from Suffolk farms, and prepares homemade pies, sausage rolls and ready meals such as stuffed chicken breasts on site. The counter also carries condiments from local producers, Suffolk-pressed apple juice and free-range eggs, and takes custom orders including seasonal barbecue boxes. The shop sits on Framlingham's market square, close to the castle, and opens six days a week with a half-day on Wednesdays. It remains independently owned and run by the Scott family, distinct from the area's supermarket meat counters.
