Hops D'Amour is a family-owned micropub at 67 Corporation Street in Coventry city centre, occupying part of the former Singers sewing-machine premises. As a free house it is tied to no brewery, and the bar typically runs around six cask ales and four keg lines, mixing beers from local brewers with others rarely seen in the city, plus a strong cider list. In keeping with the micropub model, the focus is on conversation and the drink itself, with no television or fruit machines and a compact, sociable room. It was named Coventry & District CAMRA Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year for 2024. Independently run from this single site, it has become a regular fixture on the city-centre real-ale circuit and a first stop for drinkers after changing guest beers rather than mainstream keg brands.
