The head chef has more than twenty years of experience, and the kitchen works from fresh, locally sourced produce rather than a static menu, drawing on dishes found across both cuisines. The restaurant runs on a bring-your-own-bottle basis, which keeps prices below those of licensed competitors close by. It opens from mid-afternoon at weekends and from early evening in the week, staying closed only on Mondays. My Dhabba is a single-site, independently run business rather than part of a wider restaurant group, and its corner position gives it passing trade from both the timber-framed Spon Street row and the ring-road side of the city centre. It has traded from this address since 2016.
