Garry Bunce and Ian Kerley, brothers-in-law and both qualified master butchers with more than thirty years in the trade, own and run K&B Family Butchers from a High Street shop in Princes Risborough. The counter deals mainly in locally sourced beef, lamb and pork, cut to order, but also stocks South African specialities such as biltong and boerewors, a detail that sets it apart from other Chiltern butchers. The shop opens early, from 7am on weekdays, to serve trade customers and commuters before the working day starts, and closes at lunchtime on Saturdays. Bunce and Kerley took qualifications decades before going into business together, and the shop trades on that experience rather than any recent rebrand, keeping a traditional counter layout and personal service as its main selling points.
