A medieval courtyard almshouse straddling Warwick's West Gate on the High Street, founded in 1571 by Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, as accommodation for retired soldiers. Visitors can see the galleried courtyard, the Chapel of St James, the Great Hall and the Master's Garden, with a small tearoom on site.
