Lyric Hi-Fi

Lyric Hi-Fi has traded from the Lisburn Road since 1980, specialising in two-channel hi-fi and home cinema systems rather than general consumer electronics. The shop is run today by Michael, who has worked as a specialist audio retailer for more than four decades. Lyric holds dealerships for turntable and amplifier brands including Linn, and stocks Spendor loudspeakers among other lines, with demonstration rooms set up so customers can compare equipment before buying. The business focuses on two-channel and multi-room audio installation as well as retail sales, working with both new systems and, on occasion, older equipment brought in for advice or repair. It has stayed at the same Lisburn Road address throughout its history rather than relocating or opening further branches elsewhere in Belfast. The shop keeps conventional daytime hours through the week, closing on Sundays, and continues to serve a customer base built up over more than forty years of specialist trading on the road.
