Memento

Memento occupies a shopfront on Haywood Avenue just off the Ormeau Road, having moved to the address in May 2025 under owner Gary Connolly, who took over the business in 2016. The shop began life in 2005 as a Carryduff flower stall and now combines a florist counter with an indoor-plant room, stocking cut flowers, houseplants and botanical gifts. Beyond retail, Memento runs a monthly programme of workshops: seasonal flower school sessions on dahlias, peonies and tulips, wreath-making classes ahead of Christmas, and a drop-in terrarium bar where customers build their own planted glass jars at the counter. Staff also take private bookings for hen parties and corporate team sessions. The shop remains Memento's only physical premises in Belfast.
