Out of Office Brewing is a microbrewery and taproom on the second floor of the Ulster Sports Club at 96-98 High Street, brewing on site since 2021. The brewery produces a rotating range of session beers, IPAs, stouts and sours, including Airplane Mode session APA, Slacker grapefruit IPA and the NSFW hazy NEIPA, sold in the taproom and in cans through independent shops. The taproom keeps the building's older social-club fittings and runs brewery tours led by resident brewer Katie McBarron, alongside DJ nights and Detroit-style pizza. In 2023 the brewery began canning its beer for wider distribution and launched a Cans for Cans initiative supporting local homelessness services. The taproom opens Thursday, 5pm to 11pm, Friday, 5pm to 1am, and Saturday, 2pm to 1am. Out of Office brews and serves from the same High Street site rather than operating a separate production facility, putting the brewing kit within view of the bar.
