No. 46 occupies a High Street building in Criccieth where Alistair and Ruth Meadows had lived for around 25 years before opening it as a coffee shop. Their son Jacob returned to the town in 2014 to work alongside his parents and took over running the business in 2016, keeping it a single-site family operation. The menu centres on home-cooked lunches and cakes and scones baked on the premises, alongside coffee and tea service through the day. The shop has ground-floor seating with a small frontage onto the High Street, a short walk from Criccieth Castle and the seafront. It opens Monday to Saturday from morning through mid-afternoon and closes on Sundays. Reviews through 2026 continue to note the home-baked cheese scones and the family-run service, and the shop has built up a large base of repeat local and holiday custom over its High Street run.
