No 54 is a two-room bed and breakfast run by hosts Pat and Bill from their townhouse on Majors Loan, a few minutes' walk from Falkirk High railway station. Each room has its own bathroom, a flat-screen television and a small fridge, with tea and coffee making laid out on a tray rather than a shared kitchen. Breakfast is cooked to order and served in a downstairs dining room before guests head out, with a continental option available for early departures. The garden and terrace at the back give guests somewhere to sit outside the two let rooms, and off-street parking is included for anyone arriving by car. Being two minutes from the station, most guests take the train into Glasgow or Edinburgh rather than driving into either city centre.
