The Northumberland Seafood Centre sells fish and shellfish landed daily by day boats working out of Amble harbour, a short walk from the town's retail pods. Alongside cod, haddock and salmon, the counter stocks less familiar species such as gurnard, witch and megrim brought in by local crews, and the site includes a small lobster hatchery that supports stock in the bay. It trades from a single harbourside unit rather than operating as a chain.
