Oriel Glasfryn is an independent commercial art gallery at Glasfryn Hall on South Street in Caerwys, a small town in the North-East Wales countryside between Mold and Holywell. It shows and sells contemporary Welsh painting, ceramics, glass, jewellery and craft through a programme of rotating exhibitions across the house and a dedicated hall space, and is a member of the Arts Council's Own Art scheme, which lets buyers spread payment for original work. The gallery represents both established and emerging makers with a strong regional focus, and mounts several headline exhibitions a year alongside its standing display. It is family-run and privately owned rather than council or trust-operated. Open Wednesday to Saturday and on Sunday afternoons, it sits just off the A55, making it an easy detour for anyone travelling the North Wales coast road.
