Oyster Gallery &Interiors, Mumbles

Oyster Gallery & Interiors has traded from a two-storey shop on Newton Road since incorporating in 2006, run as a single site in the centre of Mumbles village by the Bateman and Camm families. The ground floor holds original paintings and prints of Mumbles and the Gower coastline by local artists, alongside a bespoke picture-framing counter taking on customers' own artwork and photographs. Upstairs stocks homeware, soft furnishings, candles and jewellery, much of it made in Wales. The gallery represents a rotating group of Swansea Bay artists working in oil, watercolour and print rather than a single house style. Its position on Newton Road places it among the independent shops lining Mumbles' main village street, between the seafront and the church.
