Pottery Pals occupies Unit 12 at Holme Grange Craft Village outside Wokingham, where visitors choose a blank ceramic piece and paint it at one of the studio's tables. Pieces painted in underglaze go into the kiln and are ready for collection about a week later; those done in acrylic can be taken home the same afternoon. The main room seats twenty-four, with a separate room upstairs for birthday parties and group bookings. Alongside pottery painting, the studio takes plaster casts of babies' hands and feet, and of pets' paw prints, as keepsakes. Corporate groups and hen parties book the space outside normal hours. The studio closes on Mondays and otherwise opens seven hours a day, with sessions generally running to a two-hour slot, booked in advance by phone or email.
