Rebel Rebel

Mairead Curtin and Athena Duncan founded Rebel Rebel in 2000, opening their first flower stall on Broadway Market before either had worked in floristry professionally. The business now operates from Unit 1 at Regent Studios on Andrews Road, where a team designs installations and bouquets for weddings and corporate events, with a client list that has included Vogue and the BBC. Flowers are sourced daily from New Covent Garden Market and, in season, from the founders' own flower farm in Norfolk. The pair also run flower-arranging workshops and courses on-site for beginners. A sister venture, Rebel Rebel Italia, grows flowers on family land in Tuscany's Serchio valley and runs a summer flower school there.
