Millfields Coffee

Millfields Coffee is an independent cafe at the northern end of Chatsworth Road in Lower Clapton, close to Millfields Park, serving single-origin coffee roasted locally by neighbouring Dark Arts Coffee. The kitchen runs a changing brunch menu alongside pastries and cakes from another nearby bakery, and the cafe holds a full licence, serving wine, cocktails and beer into the evening as well as coffee through the day. It operates as a single site rather than a chain outlet, run independently from other cafes on the same stretch of Chatsworth Road, a street that rebuilt its retail row of independent shops after decades of decline. The cafe takes on private event bookings and catering alongside its daily service, opening seven days a week, with slightly shorter hours on weekdays than at weekends, forming part of the small commercial cluster of independent food and drink businesses around the Chatsworth Road street market.
