Rellik

Fiona Stuart, Claire Stansfield and Steven Philip opened Rellik on Golborne Road in December 1999, having previously traded vintage clothing from stalls on nearby Portobello Road before deciding they wanted a permanent shop. The single-room store sits at the foot of Trellick Tower, stocking clothing and accessories dating from the 1920s to the 1980s, including archive pieces by Ossie Clark, Vivienne Westwood and Yves Saint Laurent alongside everyday vintage. Rails are arranged by era rather than by size, and long-serving staff advise on fit and condition rather than working to commission. The shop has traded from this one Golborne Road address since it opened, and has not expanded to a second site in the twenty-five years since.
