Richard's Plants

Richard's Plants is a plant nursery and garden centre at West Lodge Farm on Pipewell Road outside Desborough, established in 2004 as West Lodge Plants & Gardens Ltd. The three-acre site grows a large share of its own stock on the ground, supplementing it with plants sourced from UK growers and nurseries in Italy and Spain, and staff describe it as holding one of the larger plant ranges in the Midlands. Alongside shrubs, trees, herbaceous perennials and bedding plants, the shop has added garden furniture, pots and home and gift items in recent years, and posts and ships selected ranges, including salvias and penstemons, to customers across the country. The nursery is open seven days a week and welcomes dogs on site, drawing both home gardeners and trade customers from around Kettering and the surrounding villages.
