A Royal Observer Corps underground monitoring post at Meigle, Skelmorlie, built in April 1965 and operational until the UK stand-down of September 1991. Restored to original condition in 2004, with a portacabin and small car park added in 2017. Tours are led by members of 25 Group (Ayr) Royal Observer Corps Association who served here, using the original equipment. Weekends 1300-1700, April to September; admission free, pre-booking essential.
