Sylvan

Colin Campbell and Jake Martell, both previously of The Hug and Pint, opened Sylvan on Woodlands Road in 2021 as a wholly vegetarian restaurant and bar. The kitchen serves plant-based dishes alongside a list of natural and sustainably produced wines, local beer and classic cocktails, with tables taking up to twelve for a booking. The pair also run a linked wine shop, Sylvan La Cave, on Sinclair Drive. The Woodlands Road dining room is wheelchair accessible at ground level, welcomes dogs before six in the evening, and offers external catering and private hire outside its regular lunch and dinner service.
