Theatre on Almshouse Street in Monmouth, opened in 2004 when Monmouth School shared its refurbished theatre building with the wider town. The single auditorium hosts touring drama, live music, dance and comedy alongside relayed broadcasts from the National Theatre and Royal Opera House, run as a community venue rather than a commercial multiplex or touring chain.
