The BottleBank

The Bottle Bank opened in March 2022 on White Hart Court in the centre of St Ives, selling beer, wine and cider sourced mainly from small independent producers. The beer range spans modern and traditional styles from the UK and further afield, chosen to avoid supermarket staples, while the wine list favours natural and biodynamic bottles from small-scale winemakers. Cider stock includes traditional and farmhouse styles alongside more contemporary producers. Bottles and cans can be bought to take away or opened to drink in at a handful of seats, making it as much a place to try something before buying a bottle as a conventional off-licence. The shop is open seven days a week, with longer hours from Friday to Sunday, and has become a stop for locals building a home cellar of harder-to-find independent beer and wine rather than mainstream brands.
