Riverport Books

Mike Sumner relocated his secondhand bookshop from Finedon in Northamptonshire, where it traded for years as Harrowden Books, to premises on The Broadway in St Ives, renaming it Riverport Books. The shop holds several thousand used and rare titles spanning art, architecture, archaeology, military history, transport and literature, with much of the stock kept in excellent condition and priced for browsing rather than collectors alone. Many titles are not listed on the shop's online catalogue and can only be found by visiting in person. The shop sits between the Ivy Leaf Club and the Floods Tavern in the town's historic centre. Opening hours run through most of the week, with Tuesdays kept closed and Saturday trading finishing earlier than other days.
