The Copper Kettle is a tearoom on Front Street in Bamburgh, a short walk from Bamburgh Castle, serving home-baked scones, cakes and light lunches from a small kitchen that bakes in batches through the day. The menu runs to traditional and savoury cream teas, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, homemade soup and locally landed crab, with gluten-free and vegan options available throughout. Because baking is done in small daily batches rather than in bulk, some items sell out before closing. Seating includes a patio garden courtyard where dogs are welcome alongside diners. The tearoom has been shortlisted in regional café-of-the-year awards and is open seven days a week without reservations. It operates as a single site in the village, run independently of the hotels and castle-estate businesses that make up much of Bamburgh's visitor trade.
