The Gourmet Pig is a family-run delicatessen on West Street in Fishguard, opened in 2011 by a farming family from nearby Esgyrn Farm in Llanychaer. The counter is stocked with cheeses, cured and cooked meats, seafood, pies, honey and chutneys, most sourced from producers within a few miles of the shop. A small kitchen turns out deli sandwiches and baked goods to order, alongside coffee and a compact wine selection for anyone wanting a bottle to take away. Hampers are made up on request, packed with a mix of Welsh cheese, charcuterie and preserves. The shop trades year round, drawing both locals doing a weekly shop and visitors after a picnic to take down to the harbour.
