The Potter'sHouse

The Potter's House is a family-run open pottery studio on the Muir of Ord Industrial Estate, offering hand-building and wheel sessions rather than instructor-led classes alone. Visitors choose from around 280 ready-made bisque pieces to hand-paint, or book a wheel-throwing taster session under supervision; finished work is glazed and fired on site before collection. The studio has operated in the Highlands for more than a decade, relocating to its current Muir of Ord premises and building a following among families, groups and local schools, for whom it runs outreach clay workshops. A small coffee counter and baby hand and foot print sessions support longer visits. Sessions run Wednesday to Saturday, with a late-night wheel session on Wednesday evenings and additional evening bookings by arrangement. The business is independently owned and operated from the single Muir of Ord site, with no other branches.
