The Victoria Inn is a backstreet corner local dating from the 1860s, set back from Mumbles' seafront strip on Westbourne Place. A well still sits in the rear bar, a leftover from the days when the pub brewed its own beer on site rather than buying it in. It closed briefly under chain ownership in 2018 before reopening as an independent free house under new local owners, trading for a period as the Mumbles Ale House before reverting to its original name in 2022 under a fresh set of local proprietors. The bar keeps three regular cask ales alongside two rotating guests, with darts, a small patio and a step-free side entrance. Open mic runs on Tuesdays, a quiz on Wednesdays, and live music fills the bar most Sunday evenings, with a weekend lunch menu cooked by chef Michael Knight.
