A café and gift shop beside Tintern Abbey serving homemade Welsh dishes including rarebit, cream teas and cakes. Run independently rather than by Cadw, which manages the abbey ruins next door, it has open fires and handmade wooden furniture, and depends heavily on passing abbey visitors for trade.
