A stone-built inn on Cross Street in the centre of Castleton, below Mam Tor and Peveril Castle. Serves cask ale and pub food in low-beamed rooms with an open fire, and lets bedrooms upstairs for walkers working through the Hope Valley's caves and gritstone edges.
