Three Stags'Heads

This Grade II listed pub on the A623 at Wardlow Mires has no bar counter; drinks are drawn from casks kept in a back room and carried through by hand. The stone-flagged front room and an adjoining music room host an informal folk session most Sunday nights, and the pub still does not take card payments, cash only at the till.
