Stevie Davies Glass Art/ Create Space

Stevie Davies works full time in fused glass at Create Space, her studio and gallery on Wirksworth's Market Place. Wall panels, jewellery and home pieces are built up through repeated kiln firings, playing on what she calls the material's dual nature: solid yet translucent, hard yet delicate. The shop opens Thursday to Saturday, with other days available by appointment, and Davies runs themed classes, advanced sessions and take-home kits alongside her own commissions. She has produced bespoke pieces for CHWA award winners and corporate clients, and received Arts Council England funding in November 2024 to develop new work through 2025. She also teaches as a visiting tutor at other studios in the area, including Banks Mill in Derby.
