Joan Slack has run Dannah Farm with her family since 1985, when she and her late husband Martin began taking guests alongside their working farm in Shottle. The Georgian farmhouse and its stone outbuildings now hold four suites, including the Hay Loft and the Granary, each with a private outdoor hot tub. Breakfast is cooked fresh each morning using locally sourced ingredients. The property holds an AA 5 Star Gold Award and was named AA Bed & Breakfast of the Year for England. A sister property, Dannah Cottages, offers self-catering six miles away in Kirk Ireton. Set in the Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District, the farm continues to operate around the accommodation business.
