Heights ofAbraham

A cabin cable car, opened in 1984, carries visitors from the valley floor at Matlock Bath up to Masson Hill, where two show caverns, Rutland Cavern, open to visitors since 1810, and Masson Cavern, can be toured with a guide. The hilltop site also has woodland walks, a fossil-themed activity room for children, and a cafe looking over the Derwent valley below.
