Blessingbourne is a Victorian manor house on the edge of Fivemiletown, built in 1871-74 for Hugh de Fellenberg Montgomery to a design by Frederick Pepys Cockerell, and still owned by the same family, now Colleen and Nicholas Lowry. The estate holds an extensive coach, carriage and costume collection built up over generations, alongside Peter Montgomery's private art collection of Dutch and Ulster paintings, both viewed on guided tours of the house and outbuildings. Visitors can also walk woodland and lakeside trails through the wider 550-acre estate, with routes of four or eight kilometres past mixed woodland where red squirrels are regularly seen. Tours run at set times rather than as a walk-in museum, and cover the Victorian gardens, principal rooms and carriage collection, with a separate tour adding an art masterclass for those who book it.
