CACTWS opened on Pier Street in Aberystwyth in August 2016 as a menswear shop before broadening its range to cover womenswear, footwear and homeware. The single shop stocks brands including Patagonia, New Balance, Carhartt WIP, Dickies, Brixton and Birkenstock alongside home pieces such as lighting, prints and vases. It trades from one shop rather than a chain of branches, with buying built around a curated mix of labels rather than a single house range. The stock combines outdoor and workwear-influenced clothing with beach-town casual pieces suited to its seaside setting, and the homeware section has expanded since opening. It sells through both the Pier Street premises and an online shop, with the physical store remaining the original and only outlet.
