Julie runs Cafe Steinbeck from 26 Main Street in Limavady, on the edge of Drumceatt Square, the town's market space. The café traded for thirteen years as Cafe Piazza before its October 2023 rebrand, a change made to mark the area's association with author John Steinbeck's family, as recorded on the café's own history page. The kitchen makes sausage rolls, paninis, soup, sandwiches, scones and traybakes daily, alongside coffee, frappes and boba drinks, sourced where possible from local suppliers and producers. Dogs on leads are welcome throughout, and outdoor tables face the square, used for artisan markets and community events. The café positions itself as a gathering point for the town centre rather than a passing-trade stop. It opens Monday to Saturday, mornings to mid-afternoon.
