Cardiff BayKayaking

Cardiff Bay Kayaking is a single-operator guided tour business run by Stephen Parker, a Grangetown resident and British Canoeing qualified Paddlesport Leader and Instructor who has paddled Cardiff Bay, the Taff and the Ely for some fifteen years. Tours launch from the slipway at Channel View, off Jim Driscoll Way in Grangetown, and take in the barrage, the river mouths and the working waterfront from a sit-on-top kayak. Groups are kept deliberately small, with a guide-to-customer ratio of between one-to-two and one-to-four and a maximum of six paddlers per guide, with equipment and a safety briefing provided before launch. Incorporated in 2022, the business runs this one Cardiff Bay route rather than operating tours from multiple locations.
