Coffey's Butchers has traded from 380 Lisburn Road since 1928, with a second shop on the Upper Lisburn Road in Finaghy added in 1955. Philip Armstrong, one of the family's current owners, represents the third generation to work behind the counter, continuing a business built on dry-ageing beef on the bone and hand-cutting wild game in season, including venison, pheasant, woodpigeon and quail alongside farmed rabbit and guinea fowl. The shop also stocks fruit and vegetables from local growers. During a visit to the Lisburn Road on 21 March 2024, Queen Camilla was given a batch of the shop's beef sausages by Armstrong, telling him she would take them home for King Charles. Regulars as far as England have the same sausages posted to them by courier most weeks. The shop closes on Sundays.
