Bam Day roasts every bag of coffee served at Crafty Smuggler, working from a converted garage on Western Street that stood derelict before he took it over. He describes himself as the only coffee roaster currently operating in Swansea, sourcing green beans from a range of global origins and roasting them on site rather than buying in. Before opening here, Day ran PD's Diner in Aberystwyth alongside his father for eight years. The cafe serves paninis and sweet treats alongside the coffee, with indoor and outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome throughout opening hours, Monday to Saturday.
