Creek Creative occupies a former warehouse on Abbey Street near Faversham Creek, run as a community interest company since 2008. Behind the frontage are around thirty rented studios used by roughly forty-five painters, printmakers, ceramicists, jewellers and other makers, with public galleries, an artisan shop and a cafe at ground level. The programme mixes changing exhibitions of members' and visiting artists' work with courses and workshops open to the public, from life drawing to printmaking. It is not a static museum but a working creative hub: studios are occupied, the galleries rotate, and much of what is shown can be bought directly from the maker. Governance sits with the CIC rather than a private owner, and it operates from this one Faversham building. Public spaces are open Tuesday to Sunday.
