D HRobertson

D H Robertson is a family run butcher at 7 Fisheracre in Arbroath, owned by Steven Bennett, who works alongside his wife Pam and daughter Ariane. The shop makes haggis, white pudding, black pudding, lorne sausage and pastry on the premises, following recipes that came with the business from a previous owner, Doug Robertson, and date back to before the Second World War. In 2025 the shop's black pudding was named UK Champion of Champions at the first national black pudding competition, beating entrants from across the country. In 2022 its beef sausage was judged best in Scotland at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards. The shop sources Scottish meat and continues to produce bakery items alongside its meat counter. It is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays, serving Arbroath's Fisheracre area near the town centre.
