Andreou's Bistro sits near Arbroath harbour on the High Street, opened by Andy Andreou in January 2018 to serve Greek and Mediterranean dishes learned from family recipes passed down from a village near Famagusta, on the Greek Cypriot side of Andreou's family. The building is split into a bar, a restaurant and a separate sports bar, seating around one hundred people between them, with an outdoor beer garden used through the warmer months. The kitchen serves dishes rooted in Cypriot home cooking rather than a generic taverna menu, with online table bookings and delivery through Uber Eats supplementing walk-in trade. The bistro is closed on Mondays, opening from four in the afternoon through midnight Tuesday to Friday and from midday through midnight at weekends, a schedule built around evening and weekend trade rather than daytime passing footfall.
