WEECOOK is a small pie maker and street-food kitchen working out of a unit in Kirkton Industrial Park, Arbroath. The range runs from savoury and vegetarian pies to a signature Fishwife pie, sausage rolls and 'Phat Baps' filled rolls for breakfast, brunch and lunch, plus coffee and cakes. Its pies have taken Great Taste Awards and British Pie Award medals. The HQ counter opens Wednesday to Saturday, and the team also runs regular pop-ups at farmers' markets and at Balhungie Berry Farm. It is an independent, owner-run business rather than a franchise or wholesale-only brand, making everything to order on a single site. Catering platters and larger orders are handled from the same kitchen. The industrial-estate setting is unfussy, with the emphasis on baking rather than a sit-in dining room.
