Dolgellau Cycles

Dolgellau Cycles trades from The Old Furnace on Smithfield Street, around 200 metres from the start of the Mawddach Trail, the disused railway line that follows the estuary towards Barmouth. The shop hires adult and children's bikes, tandems, e-bikes, trailers, and child seats for use on the traffic-free trail, and also sells and services bicycles as an authorised dealer for Scott and Dawes. Staff fit hired bikes to size and provide helmets and locks before customers set off. The shop is busiest through the summer season and also serves local cyclists year-round with repairs and spare parts. It operates from this single unit in the town centre, close to the long-stay car park, with no other branches.
