Elevens Bakery opened on Rushden High Street on 28 June 2024, run by husband-and-wife team Adam and Kelly Cousins, who also own the town's Inflatapark play centre. The shop's name plays on its address, 121 High Street, the product of eleven times eleven, and on the tradition of an elevenses break. It sells traditional cakes and pastries alongside sandwiches made with freshly baked bread, baguettes, doughnuts, eclairs, cookies and sausage rolls, plus hot and cold drinks. Local newspaper coverage of Rushden's changing high street named Elevens among the newer independents filling vacant units in the town centre, and Rushden Town Council featured it in a local Christmas shopping guide. The bakery is registered with the Food Standards Agency's hygiene rating scheme. It is Rushden's only dedicated independent bakery in the town centre, aside from a national chain outlet on the same street, and trades as a single shop rather than a multi-site operation.
