Forde's

Forde's occupies a corner unit on Tudor Square in West Bridgford and is run by owner Peri Theodosiou. The name recalls Bridge Forde, an older name for the river crossing that gave West Bridgford its own, and the shop's logo is drawn from carved bosses on the nearby Trent Bridge. Coffee is roasted locally by 200 Degrees on Meadow Lane, and the counter turns out breakfast cobs, toasted sandwiches and cakes through the day. In 2023 the café installed a contactless donation point so customers could give directly to Nottingham's homeless support charities without needing cash. It remains independently owned rather than part of a chain, trading from eight in the morning through to late afternoon, Monday to Saturday.
