Frou Frou occupies a Grade II listed seventeenth-century building on Gold Street in Tiverton, run by owners Kelly and Ian behind a bar styled on a 1920s Parisian café. The kitchen serves French-inspired bistro food in the evenings only, from Wednesday to Saturday, drawing on named local suppliers including Creedy Carver, Kenniford Farm and Kingfisher of Brixham for poultry, meat and fish. The menu changes with the seasons and includes a homemade dessert list alongside dietary options for coeliac diners. The bar runs a separate list of international wines, cocktails and local gins for anyone stopping for a drink rather than a full meal. Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays, the bistro keeps a small, single-site operation rather than expanding into a wider group.
